Grenaa was built in 1964, and sold to Olau Line in 1970. She was then renamed Olau West.

Olau West was chartered between 05th August 1976 and 10th October 1976 by Bretagne Angleterre Irlande SA, for service between Saint-Malo and Portsmouth. However, she grounded off the coast of Saint-Malo on 07th August and had to be repaired.

She was then purchased by Corsica Ferries in 1977, which renamed her Corsica Marina. Sold in 1990, she then often changed of owner and operator. Between 2001 and 2010, she was operated by Azzurra Line, which renamed her Azzurra. She was broken in Aliaga in June 2013.
